Travel Route

  Day 1 : Guwahati to Kaziranga - Arrival and Transfer

Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Upon your arrival, meet our local representative and board your transfer to Kaziranga National Park which is UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival at Kaziranga and Check into the Hotel/Resort. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing, in preparation for the fun and adventurous journey that lies ahead. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Kaziranga.

  Day 2 : Kaziranga National Park Jungle Safari

Wake up early in the morning to embark on a morning Elephant Safari (at your own expense) in Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park is home to many species of animals & birds including the One-horned rhino.After your safari, return back to the hotel for your breakfast. Rest for some time or go exploring around (on your own). In the afternoon, head out to enjoy a jeep safari in the Kaziranga national park. This evening safari in the Kaziranga National Park will take you through the areas where the chances of spotting tigers, elephants, and other wildlife species are quite high. Evening enjoy Orchid Park, Local folk dance & songs (own cost) upon completing the safari, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.

  Day 3 : Kaziranga to Shillong - Transfer

After having your breakfast at the hotel in Kaziranga, board your transfers to Shillong – The Scotland of the East. On the way take a stopover at the Maha Mrityunjay Temple at Nagaon, Maha Mrityunjay Temple is the world’s largest Shiva linga with a height of 126-feet. The place is considered to be the location where Hiranyakashipu. and Asura-Guru Shukracharya meditated, Further, proceed towards your hotel at Shillong check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening at leisure wherein you can choose to explore the local market (at your own expense). Overnight stay at the Hotel in Shillong.

  Day 4 : Shillong - Mawsynram Day Excursion

After breakfast visit Mawsynram, which as per the new geological reports, receives the highest rainfall in the world. The area is known for its caves. Later visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove. It is one of the biggest Sacred Groves in Meghalaya. It is a well preserved forest by local community. Nothing can be taken out from the forest as this is being protected by the local deities. Visit Khasi model village. In the evening return to Shillong. Visit Elephanta Falls. Overnight stay at Shillong.

  Day 5 : Shillong to Cherrapunjee - Transfer and Sightseeing

After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way enjoy Duwan Sing Syiem View Point, Nohkalikai falls, Seven Sister Falls, Maswmai Cave and Arwah Caves. On arrival at Cherrapunjee, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

  Day 6 : Cherrapunjee - Double Decker Living Root Bridge and Rainbow Waterfall Trek

Get up early to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Cherrapunjee. Proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. Need to trek approx. 3200 steps each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. We can further trek down to the Rainbow Falls which take about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Overnight Stay at Hotel (Cherapunjee).

  Day 7 : Cherrapunjee to Shillong - via Mawlynnong & Dawki

After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in Asia. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and the strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. After that proceed to Dawki, Dawki is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening proceeds to Shillong. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight at Shillong.

  Day 8 : Shillong to Guwahati - Sightseeing and Transfer

Start your morning with some delicious breakfast and prepare for the fun-filled day ahead and proceed for Shillong Local sightseeing Lady Hydri Park, Botanical Garden, Wards Lake, Don Bosco Museum.. Return back to Guwahati. Stay over Night at Hotel at Guwahati.

  Day 9 : Guwahati - Kamakhya Darshan

Have your breakfast at the hotel, procced to visit Maa Kamakhya Temple, (which is one of the most revered Shaktipeeth), Umananda Temple (the Smallest River Island of the World), Baisista Muni Ashram, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Vima Shankar Temple etc. Stay overnight at Hotel (GUWAHATI).

  Day 10 : Guwahati - Departure

Have your breakfast at the hotel and pack your bags as you end your amazing trip today. Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station (Tour End).
