Travel Route

  Day 1 : Pickup from Guwahati airport for Bhalukpong

Pick up from Guwahati Station /Airport & proceed to Bhalukpong. Check-in to Hotel. Evening enjoy at Kameng River. Overnight in Bhalukpong.

  Day 2 : Bhalukpong to Dirang

After breakfast depart for Dirang, enroute visit orchid research center at Tipi (Bhalukpong). Check in to your hotel. Enjoy your evening at Sangti Valley. Overnight stay in Dirang.

  Day 3 : Dirang Sightseeing-Sangti valley, Lumrang and Mandala top

Overnight stay in Dirang.

  Day 4 : Dirang to Tawang

Post breakfast depart for Tawang, enroute visit the Sela pass 13,7000 ft., the road goes downhill and there will be many photo-stops enroute. Visit Jaswantgarh, a memorial to Jaswant Singh PVC of the Indian Army who single-handedly repulsed a Chinese attack but fell bravely defending his position, and the spectacular Nuranang waterfalls. Overnight at a hotel in Tawang.

  Day 5 : Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast visit the legendary 400 year-old Tawang Monastary. The Tawang monastery was founded by the Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in 1681 in accordance to the wishes of the 5th Dalai Lama, Nagwang Lobsang Gyatso, and has an interesting legend surrounding its name, which means "Chosen by Horse". Jaswant Garh War Memorial, Urgelling Monastery (The Birth Place of 6th Dalai Lama), situated 5 km to the south of Tawang Township. Evening- at leisure. Overnight in Tawang.

  Day 6 : Tawang Sightseeing

Post breakfast visit PTso Lake, Sangestar Lake, Spent the entire day there itself. In the evening visit the market and craft center. Overnight stay in Tawang. Optional: Bumla Pass, Indo-China Border by own cost if Permit is allotted.

  Day 7 : Tawang to Bomdila

Take your breakfast and depart for Bomdila. Check-in to Hotel in Dirang. Visit Upper and Lower Gompa. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

  Day 8 : Bomdila to Guwahati

Morning Proceed to Guwahati. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

  Day 9 : Kamakhya Darshan

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

  Day 10 : Bomdila to Guwahati

Checkout from hotel and drop to Guwahati airport for return journey.
